04 · Results
A selection of recent outcomes demonstrating Sean Reilly's skill in achieving the best possible results for clients.
Speeding and Failing to Furnish Driver Details
Client charged with multiple speeding and failing to furnish driver details offences, facing a potential ban. Following detailed representations from Sean Reilly to the CPS, five of six charges were dropped and the client kept his licence, and in turn his job.
Joint Enterprise Theft
Three co-defendants charged with joint enterprise theft of luxury goods, a case that could have been sent to the Crown Court. Sean Reilly made detailed representations on venue to keep the case in the Magistrates' Court for sentence.
All three defendants received high level community orders instead of custodial sentences, even though one defendant was in breach of a suspended sentence for the same offence.
Drink Driving
Client due to stand trial for drink driving. Sean Reilly made representations at trial that the CPS had served the unused material late, outside of agreed court directions.
The CPS applied to adjourn the case, which was strongly opposed under relevant case law. The court sided with Sean, forcing the CPS to offer no evidence and drop the case.
Possession of a Bladed Article
Client arrested for possession of a bladed article after a knife was found on his person by police. This is a specified either way offence, meaning a caution or out of court disposal should not be offered unless there are exceptional circumstances.
Following Sean Reilly's detailed representations, the client was given a No Further Action notice, on the grounds that it was not in the public interest to prosecute the case.
Past results do not guarantee future outcomes. Every case depends on its own facts.

"Sean represented me on video link from Australia and got me another great result to avoid prison. I have never met another Solicitor so dedicated, that would apply for a video link over an 8 hour time difference to the UK! I was worried I would need to use a different Solicitor but Sean made sure to look after me again."
"Thanks Sean for everything I am incredibly grateful. From our very first contact, you made the process easy and stress-free, with great communication skills. You didn't give up on me and got me the best result. Thank you!!"

He tells you straight what's happening and doesn't play games. I won't use anyone but Sean after all the times he's got me bail in the last 2 years. First class service."
"Sean represented me in police station and was really helpful to get the outcome I needed. He left no stone unturned. If I ever get into a situation like this again Sean will be the first person I call."
